In reply to <a href="https://blog.dexternelson.com/articles/no-jesus-was-not-a-buddhist-monk/comment-page-1/#comment-243">Jesus is Buddhist</a>.

Jesus was a Jewish man, historically. And to be Jewish back then meant in history, faith, lifestyle, traditions, and culture. And speaking of history, consensus by both historians and scholars is that Jesus was born, lived, and taught as a Jew in the context of 1st-century Palestine, which was influenced by Roman and Hellenistic cultures but had no direct interaction with Buddhism. So, while I can respect the movement to tie all faiths together in some effort of unification, saying that Jesus was a Buddhist is a patently and proveably false assertion. Worse, it's also a misrepresentation of Buddhism.

Jesus was Buddhist. The Bible is wrong...it's the bible that's a thought provoking lie. From the old Testament to the current King James version, there are so many mistakes. =) grow up.
